Michael Hougaard

Michael Hougaard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Senira Solutions since January 2023. Prior to this, from July 2021, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at Kuhn Loeb & Co. Michael also co-founded Andarta Advisory Group in March 2021.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Michael worked for the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer for nearly two decades, from May 2002 to March 2021. Additionally, they established and led AsphaltGuard, Inc. as the President and Founder from April 1996 to September 2001. Earlier in their career, they served as a Legislative Assistant at the U.S. Congress from January 1995 to April 1996.

Michael Hougaard completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Utah. Michael then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Fletcher School at Tufts University from 2001 to 2002.
