Michael Hougaard

Michael Hougaard is an experienced leader with a diverse background in international relations and advisory roles. Currently serving as CEO and Co-founder of Senira since February 2023 and as Founding Partner at Andarta Advisory Group since March 2021, Michael also held the position of Strategic Advisor at Kuhn Loeb & Co from July 2021 to June 2023. A former Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State for nearly two decades, Michael worked across various regions including Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Balkans. In addition to founding AsphaltGuard, Inc. and serving as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. Congress, Michael holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Utah.
