Mitja Jermol

Mitja Jermol is a seasoned expert in technology and education with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Senira Solutions since November 2022, Mitja also holds multiple positions at the Jozef Stefan Institute, including Chief Program Officer for the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence under UNESCO and UNESCO Chair on Open Technologies for Open Educational Resources. Responsibilities include promoting and facilitating the accessible use of open educational resources through advanced AI technologies and supporting UNESCO strategies. Additionally, Mitja is a co-founder of several organizations, including JEMS and Quintelligence, and has a background in business development and knowledge transfer in educational contexts, underscored by a strong academic foundation with a degree from the University of Ljubljana.
