Bernard Lee

Director of Technology & Innovation at SENKO

Bernard Lee is currently the Director of Technology & Innovation at SENKO. Bernard has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and has held various leadership positions in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Lee started their career at Telekom Malaysia in 1998, and worked their way up to Assistant General Manager - Business Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for formulating the company's business direction and strategy.

In 2008, Lee transferred to TELEKOM Research & Development as Head of Communications & Innovation. Bernard spent two years in this role before moving to Senko Advanced Components in 2011 as R&D Director.

At Senko, Lee led the company's R&D and Consultancy division, overseeing research and development, as well as project management. Bernard also played a key role in developing the company's technology strategy and partnerships.

In 2014, Lee was promoted to Director of Technology & Innovation, and they currently lead Senko's technology team. Under their guidance, Senko has maintained its position as a leading manufacturer of advanced components.

Bernard Lee has a mini-MBA from the London School of Business and Finance, as well as a PhD and MPhil in Optical Communications from the University of Malaya and University of Essex, respectively. Bernard also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Essex. Additionally, they have certification from IEEE, LinkedIn, Engineering Council, and BICSI.

Bernard Lee reports to Kazu Takano, President. Some of their coworkers include Jim Hasegawa - Executive Vice President, Frank Jaffer - Managing Director, and Yohei Sato - Vice President, Sale.
