Torsten Grenz has extensive work experience in the controlling and finance fields, primarily in the audio equipment company Sennheiser. Torsten held various roles within the company, starting as a Controller in the R&D department from 2004 to 2006. Torsten then became the Controller for the Nordic region from 2006 to 2009 in Sennheiser Nordic A/S. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Controller in Corporate Controlling at Sennheiser. Following that, Grenz took on the role of Divisional Controller in the Integrated Systems Division from 2011 to 2014, where they were responsible for controlling aspects, such as project and portfolio controlling, budget coordination, and advising the president. Torsten then became the Manager of Controlling & Finance Professional Systems from 2015 to 2021, overseeing controlling and finance aspects for the Professional Systems Division. Currently, they are the Head of Commercial Controlling at Sennheiser, starting in August 2021. Torsten leads a team of six employees and is responsible for decision support, project controlling, forecast coordination, and supporting the business units in their growth and sustainability.
Torsten Grenz obtained a Dipl. Kfm. (FH) degree in Business Administration from the HAWK - University of Applied Science and Arts in the years 2000 to 2004. Torsten later pursued further education at the Controller Akademie from 2005 to 2008, earning a Controller's Diplom in Controlling. In 2011 to 2013, Torsten attended Gisma University of Applied Sciences, although the degree name and field of study during this period are unknown.
