Thomas Haertling

Thomas Haertling has held various positions in the field of nanotechnology and nanosensors. From 2010 to 2018, they were Group Manager at Fraunhofer IKTS. In 2018, they became a Professor for nanotechnology and nanosensors at TU Dresden. In 2019, they co-founded Senodis Technologies GmbH and in 2020, they took on the role of Founding Director and Interim Management at Fraunhofer Portugal Center for Smart Agriculture and Water Management AWAM.

Thomas Haertling obtained a Diplom in Physik from the Technische Universität Dresden, followed by a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Physik from the same university. Thomas later achieved a Habilitation in Elektrotechnik from the Technische Universität Dresden.
