Dan Baker is currently the Director, Global Sales, North America & Europe Aftermarket at Sensata. Prior to this, Dan held the position of Contract Technical Writer at Daikin Applied Americas from January 2018 to July 2018. In this role, Dan was responsible for creating several hundred marketing cut sheets for HVAC equipment accessories, and worked closely with engineers and marketing staff to ensure delivery of accurate and consistent documents.

In May 2017, Dan began a Technical Writer Internship at The Toro Company which lasted until August of that year. During their time there, they created two technical documents: a service manual for Toro's BRC-28 brush cutter, and a general testing procedure manual. Dan also performed line drawing manipulation with Adobe Illustrator and used Adobe InDesign to format manuals for print and web interfaces.
Prior to these roles, Dan was an Academic Technology Assistant at Normandale Community College from August 2013 to May 2015. Dan also spent 9 years as a Computer Technician at Dorsey and Whitney LLP from January 2004 to August 2013.
Dan Baker has a Bachelor of Science in Technical Writing & Communication from the University of Minnesota, as well as Associate of Science degrees in Engineering Foundations and Computer Science from Normandale Community College. Dan also has an Associate of Arts in Mathematics Emphasis from Normandale Community College and an AAS in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Brown College.
