Peter Bårmann

Development Leader & Project Manager at Sensative

Peter Bårmann has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Peter has worked as a Development Leader and Project Manager at Sensative AB since October 2015. In this role, Peter is responsible for leading the development of the IoT integration platform, Yggio, and managing customer projects.

Before joining Sensative AB, Peter founded their own company called CurroTech in August 2012. CurroTech was a start-up in mobile technology applications and focused on platform technology. Peter also provided consulting services in project management. Eventually, CurroTech was included in Sensative AB.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Peter worked at Alfa Laval as a Senior Project Manager from March 2015 to June 2015. Peter also held the position of Senior Project Manager at Sony Mobile Communications from August 2014 to March 2015 and from January 2014 to July 2014.

Peter's longest tenure was at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, where they worked for several years in various roles. Peter served as Program Manager from February 2011 to October 2012, Director from December 2009 to February 2011, Director and Head of Platform Development/Software from January 2009 to November 2009, Director and Head of Program Office from February 2008 to February 2009, and Senior Manager and Head of Software Project Office from April 2005 to March 2008. During their time at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, Peter played a significant role in managing platform development, leading teams, integrating units, and overseeing software project office functions.

Peter's earlier career includes roles at Ericsson as a Software Project Manager from April 2000 to March 2005, Teleca Software Solutions AB as a Project Manager from April 2000 to March 2005, Kockums AB as a Project Manager from March 1996 to March 2000, and ABB Systems Control as a computer modeling project assignee for power distribution from June 1993 to August 1993.

Peter Bårmann pursued their education at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. From 1987 to 1992, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics. Peter continued their academic journey at Lund University, specializing in Atomic Physics, and completed their Doctorate between 1993 and 1996.
