Tony Strand

Tony Strand has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and telecommunications industry. Tony is currently the Head of PropTech at Sensative since 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at KTC, where they focused on sales, business development, and commercial growth in energy solutions and digitalization. Before that, from 2017 to 2020, Tony was the Sales Manager IoT - Smart Building at Telenor, where they built up the Smart Building business within IoT and developed digital offerings and partnerships for future properties and cities. From 2013 to 2017, Tony worked at Empower group as the KAM Large - Fibernät & Mobilnät, where they led the expansion of fiber and mobile networks. Prior to that, they were the Chief of Market Development at Britera from 2010 to 2013, where they developed new business models, products, and marketing strategies for leading city networks. Tony also has work experience at Telge AB, e-Centret Stockholm AB, Gotland Science Park, Planning Networks, and Boxplant, where they held various leadership and strategic roles focusing on sales, business development, and technology.

Tony Strand has a diverse education history. Tony earned their BSc.(Civilekonom) degree in Management Control from the University of Gothenburg between the years 1988 and 1992. In 1992, they participated in an Exchange Program at Erasmus University Rotterdam to further their studies in Business Management. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Strategy & Information Management from the London Business School from 1995 to 1997. In 2008 and 2009, Tony attended the KTH Executive School at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they focused on Infra Service Management. Lastly, in 2017 and 2018, they completed an Executive Education program in Digitalization & Innovation at INSEAD.
