Khaled Assran has worked in various engineering roles since 2012. Theirfirst role was as an Electrical Engineer at Manara Academy, where they were the Embedded System and Electronics Department Manager and instructed Robotics and Embedded System courses for undergraduate students. In 2014, they worked as a Field Application Engineer at Benchmark Power International (BPI), where they established the Solar Water Pumping Department and standardized the technical procedure to prepare proposals. Khaled then worked as a Technical Manager at MAG Consulting, where they provided whole solutions to key potential customers, established the R&D sector, and developed troubleshooting standard procedures. In 2015, they became a Field Project Manager at SunEdison, where they were the Egypt Country Manager for Solar Water Pumping Business and managed the FAO project from design to site implementation. In 2016, they were a Technical Advisor at Enara Group, where they were responsible for medium scale projects and supported large scale projects such as Benban projects in Egypt and Jordan. In 2018, they became a Senior Electrical Project Engineer at Scatec Solar, where they managed two plots of 65 MWp DC in Aswan and Daraw. Finally, in 2020, they became a Field Application Engineer in the MENA Region at SenseHawk, where they assisted in managing the company products and other details of sales and service requests, troubleshot system applications on customer's request, and conducted regular follow up on customer's activities.
Khaled Assran attended the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University from 2005 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
