Mitch Shue

Mitch Shue is a Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the AI Research Institute for Science and Engineering (AIRISE) at Clemson University, where they leverage decades of industry experience to enhance education and research in artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Formerly serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Morningstar, Mitch has led significant technology initiatives and coached emerging tech leaders across various sectors. They are currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at Clemson University and are an advisory board member for several organizations, including FiscalNote and Vibranium Labs.
