Kay Saffe

Kay Saffe is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Clinical Director at Coastal Detox of Southern California and as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician at Sensible Care. Kay has a solid background in mental health services, having worked as an Associate Mental Health Clinician at San Diego Youth Services from December 2019 to March 2024 and as a Trainee Mental Health Clinician at YMCA of San Diego County. Prior to these roles, Kay gained valuable experience as a Surf Instructor at various surfing schools and as a Lifeguard at New College of Florida. Kay holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from New College of Florida.
