Thomas Gersten

Thomas Gersten is an accomplished engineering and product management professional with extensive experience in technology and software development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at HeartMath LLC since September 2020, Gersten is also a co-founder of Sensie, which focuses on bridging the gap between somatic knowledge and sensor data. Previously, Gersten held several key positions at Microsoft, including Principal Lead Program Manager for Kinect and Azure, contributing significantly to human/machine interaction and cloud services. Gersten's early career includes co-founding Insoft S.C. and serving as a Chief Product Officer, where a pioneering point-of-sale solution was developed. Additionally, Gersten has experience as a software engineer at Banamex and as a professor in the Computer Science Department at Tec de Monterrey, while holding a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on AI from the same institution.
