Øyvind Hopsnes

CTO at Sensio

Øyvind Hopsnes has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and technical positions. Øyvind is currently the CTO at Sensio AS since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at Cenium from April 2018 to May 2020, where they focused on building a strong distributed product organization and implementing agile methodologies. Øyvind also worked as the CTO, Public and Healthcare at EVRY group from June 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they held the positions of SVP Global Engineering and SVP Product Management at Cxense from October 2015 to May 2017. Øyvind played a key role in restructuring and driving product alignment in the company. Øyvind has also worked at Microsoft Development Center Norway and FAST, a Microsoft subsidiary, in various management and development roles. Earlier in their career, they worked at TINE BA, Commitment, and Delfi Data AS in consulting and system administration roles.

Øyvind Hopsnes holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which they completed from 1994 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ones in Azure Apps: Diagnostics, Instrumentation, and Logging, Microsoft Power Apps: AI Builder, Product Innovation for Product Managers, Six Sigma Foundations, and Vulnerability Management: Assessing the Risks with CVSS v3.1.
