Daniel Baer

Daniel Baer currently serves as the Teamleader for R&D Product Engineering at Sensirion, overseeing a team of 20 engineers across various disciplines to develop modules and products for medical, automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. Previously, Baer held the position of Head of Product Development at Brütsch Elektronik AG, managing a 30-member R&D team in dental and video endoscopy applications. Prior experience includes roles at Sonova Group, from Manager of R&D Group in Electroacoustics to Research Engineer positions, where Baer focused on hardware development for hearing aids and led innovative projects. Baer's career began as an Automotive Technician at Adventures on Wheels Inc. Baer holds an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern, a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ZHAW School of Engineering, and has completed vocational training as an Automechaniker.
