Stan van Oppen

Stan van Oppen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Stan is currently working as the CFO at Sensius since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Advisor at New Ventures and scale-ups from April 2020.

Stan also has experience in the non-profit sector, serving as a Board Member & Treasurer at Stichting Jarige Job since January 2017. In this role, they help facilitate birthdays for children growing up in poverty.

Before joining Sensius, Stan worked as the CFO at Sofis from September 2017 to March 2020. Additionally, they have experience as a Startup & New Ventures Advisor from December 2014 to September 2017, and as a Finance Manager for New Ventures, Project Finance Advisor, Business Performance Advisor, Budgeting & Reporting Analyst, and Financial Accountant at Shell from 2005 to 2016.

Stan van Oppen completed their undergraduate studies in Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2000 to 2005, earning a MSc / Drs degree. Stan then pursued further education at Maastricht University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a postgraduate degree in International Executive Master of Finance & Control (iEMFC / RC).
