Pieter Broekema

Pieter Broekema is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with substantial entrepreneurial experience. As the Founder of Sensorfact since August 2016, Pieter has focused on helping industrial companies reduce energy, maintenance, water, and compressed air costs. Pieter also co-founded Dexter Energy in February 2014 and served as President of the Young Energy Specialists & Development Co-operation (YES-DC) from March 2014 to March 2015, fostering a community of over 300 students and young professionals in energy and international cooperation. Prior to these roles, Pieter worked as an Associate at SparkOptimus from March 2013 to February 2014. Academically, Pieter holds a Master of Science in Energy & Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Groningen, along with an educational experience at St. Petersburg State University and Eemland College Amersfoort.
