Joe Thornton

Joe Thornton is an experienced investor and board member with a robust background in supporting innovative companies across various sectors. Currently serving as an Angel Investor at Pie Chart Ventures since January 2024, Thornton also holds investment roles at Spotted Zebra, Skiller Whale, Omnipresent, Rensource Energy, and SensorFlow. Additionally, Thornton is a member of the Supervisory Board at Cocoon Capital Management and previously acted as a Partner at Playfair Capital until September 2023. Thornton's career began with a technical recruiting role at Facebook, and education includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Galway.
