JC Coughlin

JC Coughlin has a diverse work experience in mechanical design engineering. From 2022 to present, they have worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at SensorLink Corporation. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they worked in the same role at Legend Brands. In 2018, JC Coughlin worked as a Consulting Mechanical Design Engineer at Elementao Designs, where they engaged with various clients to develop new products and improve existing designs. They also have experience as the Founder & Owner of Backcountry Staples from 2016 to 2019, where they created breakfast products and managed an e-commerce store. From 2014 to 2017, JC Coughlin worked as a Product Design Engineer at Simulab Corporation, leading a team and developing medical training simulators. They also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Obermeyer Hydro, Inc. from 2011 to 2013, designing gate systems and tunnel boring machine seals. Their work experience began with an Engineering Internship at Rypos, Inc. from 2008 to 2011, where they completed various projects in departments such as Manufacturing, R&D, and Engineering.

JC Coughlin received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. JC studied at Colorado State University from 2008 to 2013. In 2017, JC attended NOLS where they obtained Wilderness First Responder & CPR Pro Certification. In 2018, they completed a Timber Framing apprenticeship at EcoNest Homes.
