Virgo Riispapp

Virgo Riispapp has extensive work experience in various leadership roles, primarily in the IT industry. They began their career as an IT manager at Info Enterprises Group, where they were responsible for providing reliable IT services and implementing CRM and Dealer Management Systems. Afterward, they served as the Head of ICT Department at the Estonian Police Board, managing significant projects such as building and implementing TETRA infrastructure and launching the world's first ePolice solution.

Following this, Virgo joined Coca-Cola HBC as the Baltic Service Delivery Manager, driving the transition to an outsourced IT support model and contributing to a successful SAP implementation. They then joined the IT and Development Centre at the Estonian Ministry of the Interior (SMIT) as the VP of Development and Service Delivery, where they implemented leadership and personal development programs and attracted high-level specialists to work on strategic eGovernment solutions.

Virgo's next role was as the Head of IT at Creditstar Group AS, where they designed product development project management principles and implemented software development KPIs and monitoring solutions. They also created a motivation schema and personal development program to reduce employee turnover.

After leaving Creditstar Group AS, Virgo served as the Chief Operating Officer at NGO Python Estonia, organizing Python CodeClub meetings and leading the organizing team for PyCon Estonia. They also generated profits to cover expenses for the Python CodeClub.

Virgo then joined Thorgate as the Chief of Operations, where they created a company KPI dashboard, extended the developer personal development program, and increased company turnover. They later became the CTO, implementing software development metrics and performance management systems, creating a developer career ladder, and enhancing developer efficiency.

Currently, Virgo holds the position of Head of Digital at KPMG Baltics. It can be inferred that they have expertise in digital transformation, leadership, project management, software development, and personal development programs.

Virgo Riispapp completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in IT Management from the Estonian Business School between 2002 and 2006. They later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from the same institution starting in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Virgo obtained a certification in "Leading others" from the Leadership Pipeline Institute in April 2023.
