James Murphy

James Murphy is an accomplished network engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as a Principal Network Engineer at AT&T since July 2017, James provides principal network support for Cricket Wireless, while also working as a Telecom Consultant at Sentaca since January 2016, focusing on network engineering for the same carrier. Previous roles include Director of Solutions Engineering at Kore Systems Group, where James managed sales and solution support for the Connected Devices Platform, and a Sr. Systems Engineer and Solution Architect at Acision, contributing to the nationwide SMS messaging network for a Tier 1 mobility carrier. Earlier experience includes positions as Sr. Sales Engineer and Product Manager at Glenayre, enhancing pre and post-sales support and training initiatives across their enhanced messaging products. James holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Franklin Institute of Technology.
