Sentana Global Energy (“Sentana”) is an Indonesian energy and natural resources company with a distinguished operational legacy dating back to 1985.

Originally established with a primary focus on offshore oil and gas, Sentana has strategically evolved in response to changing industry dynamics and Indonesia’s national resource development priorities. Since 2002, the company has repositioned itself as a mining contracting and project development enterprise.

Sentana’s first mining engagement commenced at Gunung Bayan Pratama in Resak, East Kalimantan, marking the beginning of more than two decades of experience as a trusted mining contractor. Over the years, the company has collaborated extensively with leading industry players, including Banpu, KPC, Kideco, MHU, and Adaro.

Today, Sentana continues to broaden its operational footprint across Indonesia. Its latest active project is located in Berau, East Kalimantan, within the IUP Nusantara Energy. Beyond coal, Sentana has diversified its mineral portfolio to include bauxite, silica, and iron ore—supporting Indonesia’s critical minerals development and downstream industrialization agenda.
