Patrick Jackson

Patrick Jackson is the current Security Program Manager at Sentant. Prior to this, they were the Information Security Manager at Simplus from January 2020 to February 2022. There, they built the security strategy with the C-Suite, managed the security program, and was responsible for privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in conjunction with the Data Privacy Officer. Patrick also managed security team members and other information security personnel, evaluated department budgets for technological training, assessed current technology architectures for vulnerabilities and weaknesses, implemented and oversaw technological upgrades and changes to the security environment, managed physical security and data backup systems, communicated information security goals effectively with other managers, prepared and kept updated cybersecurity procedures and documentation, defined and maintained SOPs, collaborated with management to develop plans for operational infrastructure, ensured offshore operations were established and optimal, assisted with IT provisions in MSA’s and contracts, and more.

Patrick Jackson has a Masters in Information Security - Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, and an Associate's degree in Computer Science & Psychology with a certificate in Web Developement from Western Wyoming Community College. Patrick also has certification from (ISC)² in Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Associate, from CIW, Inc. in Web Security Associate, from CompTIA in CompTIA Project+, from EC-Council in EC-Council Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES), from (ISC)² in SSCP, from CompTIA in CompTIA A+, from CompTIA in CompTIA Network+, and from CompTIA in CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist.
