Simon Caruel is a seasoned technology development engineer with over a decade of experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently employed at SenTec since April 2010, Simon has previously held positions as a Senior TCAD Device Engineer at ESPROS Photonics Corporation and a Device Engineer at E2V Semiconductors, focusing on the design and improvement of CMOS Image Sensor Pixels and TCAD simulation using Silvaco tools. Simon began a PhD at ATMEL Grenoble, where research centered on Fixed-Pattern Noise (FPN) in CMOS Image Sensors, following a solid foundation in electronics from Grenoble INP - UGA and Grenoble INP - Phelma, culminating in a PhD in Microelectronics.
