Eric Nelson

Eric Nelson has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security. Eric has held various roles in different companies, starting from their most recent position as a Principal Solutions Architect at Sentinel Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Palo Alto Partner Architect and Information Security Architect at World Wide Technology, where they led security programs for State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations. Eric also has experience as a Network Security Specialist at Insight, a Network and Security Administrator at Innovation Care Partners, and a Senior Network Engineer at Apriva. In addition, Eric has worked as a Network Engineer at LogicalisUS and Decision Consultants, Inc., and as a Network Operation Center, Network Engineer at CTNOSC. Eric began their career as an Information Technology Specialist in the US Army. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in various areas including network security, infrastructure hardening, and system administration.

Eric Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Operation and Security from Western Governors University, completing their education between 2016 and 2020. In addition to their degree, Eric has obtained various certifications, including Cisco Fire Jumper - Systems Engineer, Palo Alto Networks System Engineer Professional (PSE) - Strata, Fortinet Certified Fundamentals Cybersecurity, and Zero Trust Certified Architect (ZTCA) from Zscaler. Eric has also completed several courses related to Palo Alto Networks and Cisco.
