Fernando Ortiz

Fernando Ortiz is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at SentinelOne, where they focus on full stack development, DevOps, and cloud technologies. Prior to this, they held various roles including Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer at Instabase, as well as a Software Engineering Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they led the infrastructure for the JHU COVID-19 Dashboard. Fernando also contributed as a Research Student at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and served as a Software Development Mentor, leading teams in mobile application development. They hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
