David McDonald

David McDonald is an experienced professional with a robust background in asset management and engineering. Currently serving as Managing Director and Technical Director at eSmart Networks since October 2021, David also contributes as a Board Member at Sentinus from September 2023. Prior to these roles, David worked at Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) for 18 years, holding several positions including Head of Asset Management and Network Connections Design Manager. David earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast between 1999 and 2003, after completing education at Cambridge House Boys Grammar School from 1992 to 1999.
