Mikhail Burtsev

Mikhail Burtsev is a prominent AI researcher currently serving as a Landau AI Fellow at the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences and Chief Science Officer at Sentius. As the Founder and Leader of DeepPavlov.ai, Mikhail established an open-source framework for developing conversational agents. Mikhail has held significant roles such as Scientific Director at AIRI, where core organizational principles were designed, and Head of the Neural Nets and Deep Learning Lab at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Mikhail has also organized key competitions in conversational intelligence and contributed to the Kurchatov NBIC Centre as a Senior Research Scientist. Mikhail holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
