Daniel Suissa

Daniel Suissa has a diverse work experience in software engineering and human resources planning. Daniel is currently working as a Software Engineer at Sentra since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer from July 2019 to October 2021. Daniel also had a brief stint at Flytrex as a Fullstack Software Engineer in consumer products from February 2019 to May 2019.

In terms of their academic experience, Daniel worked as the Head Teaching Assistant at NYU Tandon School of Engineering from August 2018 to January 2019 and as a Teaching Assistant from September 2016 to August 2018. Daniel also interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook from May 2018 to August 2018.

Before transitioning into the software engineering field, Daniel served in the Israel Defense Forces. Daniel held the position of Vice Head of Human Resources Planning Department/Lieutenant from June 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they developed digital models for manning projections, spearheaded reorganization projects, and taught an in-unit course for human resources management. Prior to this, they served as a Human Resources Planning Officer/Second Lieutenant, where they performed statistical analysis and formed recruit plans for non-combat soldiers in the Ground Forces.
