Mark Bennett has a long and varied work experience. Mark began their career in 1996 as a System Administrator for the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). In 1998, they were promoted to Director of Technology at SAIC, where they were responsible for software architecture and design of classified military intelligence products and overseeing local office technology infrastructure. In 2000, they joined Sapient as a Project Manager, leading multiple eCommerce software development projects for clients in the retail, financial services, and aluminum industries. In 2001, they founded Kenosha Information Technology, Inc., where they developed a unique and highly successful offering of anti-spam and email solutions. That same year, they joined CME Group as Managing Director & General Manager of UK and Asia Technology Operations, where they were responsible for CME Group's European and Asian global technology strategy, service delivery, software development, infrastructure, IT operations, and sourcing strategy across 3 offices worldwide. Mark was also Executive Director & General Manager and Executive Director, Software Engineering at CME Group. In 2015, they joined Sentry Enterprises as Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Technology Officer. In 2022, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Sentinel Wallet, LLC, Non Executive Director of X-Core Technologies, and Advisory Board Member of Motor Specialty Inc. Mark has been an Advisory Board Member of the Lifeboat Foundation since 2015.
Mark Bennett completed Advanced electronics and computer systems engineering at the USAF from 1986 to 1989. Mark then attended Honolulu Community College from 1991 to 1995, studying Computer Software Engineering / Physics. In 1988, they obtained their Private Piliot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. In 1994, they obtained their PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification from PADI.
