Athena Moghaddam

Athena Moghaddam is a Senior Software Engineer at Sentry, focusing on developing monitoring solutions for large and fast-growing teams as part of the Enterprise team since May 2023. Prior to Sentry, Athena spent nearly a decade at Meta, where roles included Technical Lead with responsibilities ranging from improving recruiting performance towards diversity goals to ensuring user safety for over a million minors across Facebook apps. Athena's career also includes significant development work at Concordia University on data visualization for the Canadian Border Agency, and experience at Nexsan Technologies, where Athena developed a command line interface and an automated testing framework. Athena holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from McGill University and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran.
