Chad Whitacre is an experienced technology professional with a substantial background in software engineering and open source leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Open Source and a Senior Software Engineer at Sentry since November 2020, Chad previously held positions as Software Engineering Manager at Proofpoint and Engineering Lead at Idelic. Chad co-founded Gratipay, where engagement spanned from May 2012 to May 2018, and worked as a Lead Software Engineer at YouGov prior to that. Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College between 1996 and 1999.
