Joshua Callender

Joshua Callender is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Sentry since January 2024. Previously, Joshua held the position of Lead Full Stack Developer at Gantry, and contributed significantly to Lyft as a Senior Staff Software Engineer from July 2015 to September 2022. At Lyft, Joshua was instrumental in driving frontend developer experience initiatives, defining team roadmaps, and designing core web systems, including a web component library and a metrics tracking system. Additionally, Joshua fostered a collaborative web development culture by mentoring engineers and creating cross-organizational forums for idea sharing. Earlier career experiences include roles at Change.org, Imgur, LLC, Betaware Mobile, Thermopylae Sciences and Technology, and RR Donnelley, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ohio University.
