Richard Gibert is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in site reliability, platform engineering, and middleware systems. Currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Sentry since January 2022, Richard has previously held significant roles at RBC from January 2016 to December 2021, including Lead Platform Engineer for Data & Analytics, where leadership and management of the Big Data team were key responsibilities. At RBC, Richard also contributed as a Senior Platform Engineer, focusing on the design and implementation of enterprise multi-tenant Hadoop clusters. Earlier in Richard's career, from July 2008 to January 2016, valuable experience was gained at Symcor as an Implementation Analyst IV, delivering middleware solutions, and at Metroland Media Group Ltd. as an Interactive Media Developer and Automation Specialist.
