Joe Kottke

Joe Kottke has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Joe started their career in 1996 as a Network Engineer at Fallot McElligott. In 1998, they moved on to Organic to become a Server Engineer. In 1999, they joined Interpublic as a Senior Security Engineer and WAN and Security Manager. In 2003, they became a Senior Network Analyst at Morningstar. In 2004, they were promoted to Director of Network Operations at FeedBurner, Inc. where they built the network and server infrastructure to serve over 1.5MM feeds. In 2007, they joined Google as an Engineering Manager and Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer. In 2017, they moved on to New Context as a Solutions Architect. In 2018, they joined IFTTT as a Senior Software Engineering (Infrastructure). Finally, in 2019, they became a Site Reliability Engineering Manager and Site Reliability Engineer at MobileCoin.

Joe Kottke attended Iowa State University from 1991-1992, where they studied Psychology. Joe then transferred to the University of Minnesota, where they earned a BA in Psychology from 1993-1995.
