Laura Buckles

Laura Buckles has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Laura has recently worked for SEP as a UX Designer since September 2021. Prior to this role, they were an Associate UX Designer at SEP from June 2020 to September 2021.

Laura also gained valuable experience as a Design Intern at SEP in 2019 and as a ServeIT Design Intern at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing from August 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern at LifeStream Services, Inc. for a brief period in July 2018.

Laura has also held positions as a SICE Summer Camp Counselor at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing in June 2018, an Undergraduate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington from August 2017 to May 2018, and a Language Instructor at Bridges Language Program from January 2018 to April 2018.

Furthermore, they gained early work experience as an Intern at Women Who Code from October 2016 to May 2017. Prior to that, they were a Summer Camp Counselor at Minnetrista from June 2010 to July 2016, where they assisted the teacher and supported children in various activities.

Lastly, Laura volunteered as a Cafe Volunteer Cashier at Union Chapel Ministries from December 2011 to March 2016.

Laura Buckles completed their education in a chronological order. Laura received their High School Diploma from Muncie Central High School in the year 2016. Following their high school education, Laura pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Informatics from Indiana University Bloomington. Laura graduated in the year 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, with a cognate in Fine Arts and minors in Japanese Language and Human Centered Computing.
