Cécile Bize

Cécile Bize has a diverse work experience in the field of cosmetics and skincare. Cécile is currently working as the Biological Evaluation Manager at SEPPIC, where they are responsible for researching and developing new methods for evaluating cosmetic, nutrition, and nutraceutical ingredients. Prior to this role, they held the position of Cosmetic Product Development Manager & Lab Manager at SEPPIC. In this role, they managed the development of new cosmetic and dermatological products and was involved in writing project proposals and presenting concepts to partners.

Before joining SEPPIC, Cécile worked at Affichem as a Chef de projet Dermo-Cosmétique. Cécile was responsible for creating and developing the dermo-cosmetics activity of the company. Their tasks included product conception and management, writing project proposals, presenting projects to partners, conducting in vitro tests and evaluations, and formulating molecules of interest.

Earlier in their career, Cécile worked at Laboratoires Prodene Klint as a researcher in formulation and was later promoted to the role of Responsible R&D. Cécile was involved in the development of hygiene, cosmetic, and disinfection products for medical, agro-food, industrial, and community settings.

Cécile's academic background includes a Ph.D. obtained from the University of Toulouse. Their research focused on the development of a new delivery system for hydrophobic active ingredients in collaboration with Laboratoires Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique. The aim was to create a simplified and skin-friendly formulation using sugar-derived surfactants from renewable sources.

Cécile Bize completed their bachelor's degree in Chemistry at ENSIACET from 2004 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued their Master 2 Recherche in Chemistry-Biology at the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
