Dean Staus

Dean Staus has been working in the scientific field since 2011. Dean began their career as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then moved to Duke University Medical Center where they worked as a Research Specialist and Postdoctoral Associate. In 2020, they became a Consultant at Third Rock Ventures and then moved to Septerna as a Principal Scientist. In 2021, they returned to Third Rock Ventures as a Principal Scientist.

Dean Staus received their Doctor of Philosophy in Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and their Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
