Ken Eng

Ken Eng has a long and varied career in the talent acquisition field. Ken began their career in 2005 with HireMinds as a Senior Recruiter. In 2008 they joined Lab Support, a division of On Assignment, where they held the roles of Senior Recruiter, Branch Leader, and Managing Director. In 2016 they moved to Gilead Sciences as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant. In 2017 they joined Facebook as a Recruiter. In 2019 they became the Head of Talent Acquisition at Core Scientific. In 2020 they took on the role of Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. and in 2021 they became the Global Talent Leader at Ascendis Pharma. Finally, in 2022 they were appointed Head of Talent Acquisition at Septerna, where they are responsible for setting a clear vision for the team, defining success, and providing clear prioritization. Ken also mentors and develops a high performing diverse organization and drives winning results by allocating time and resources to focus on top priorities, utilizing data driven decisions, and taking extreme ownership for successful outcomes.

Ken Eng attended The University of British Columbia from 2000 to 2004, where they took courses and conducted research towards a graduate degree in Neuroscience. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UMass Boston between 1994 and 1999.
