Mel M.

Mel M. has over 25 years of work experience in the field of informatics. Mel began their career in 1996 as an Informatics Specialist & Research Associate at Novartis Coporation (Chiron Corp). In 2000, they became an Informatics Business Systems Analyst at Cytokinetics. From 2002 to 2011, Mel M. worked at Exelixis, Inc in two different roles - Senior Business Systems Analyst and Associate Informatics Research Scientist. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Sr Systems Analyst, R&D at Santen Pharmaceutical. In 2012, they took on the role of Compliance Specialist, R&D at Pharmacyclics. From 2013 to 2020, Mel M. was a Research Informatics Manager and Sr. Dir Research Informatics at MyoKardia. Currently, they are the Director at Septerna.

Mel M. obtained a Masters of Science in Enterprise Systems Management from Golden Gate University in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University in 1996. Additionally, they are a Licensed Project Management Professional certified by PMI.
