Xiaohui Du

Xiaohui Du has a long and varied work experience. Xiaohui began their career in 1999 as an NIH postdoctoral fellow at UCSF Medical Center. In 2001, they moved to UCLA to take on a similar role. In 2004, they were a Scientist at FibroGen, Inc. and Amgen, South SF. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Amgen, South San Francisco as a Senior Scientist. From 2014 to 2020, they held various roles at ORIC Pharmaceuticals, including Director, Associate Director, Senior Principal Scientist, and Principal Scientist. Currently, they are the Senior Director, Head of Medicinal Chemistry at Carmot Therapeutics, Inc. and will soon take on the role of Senior Director, Medicinal Chemistry at Septerna.

Xiaohui Du received their BS in Organic Chemistry from Peking University in 1991, and their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998.
