Gildas Barreyre is the Secretary General of Seqens group, overseeing Public Affairs, Procurement, Strategy, ESG, and Innovation functions since February 2016. Gildas also serves as Vice President of the European Fine Chemicals Group and President of the Electricity Commission at UNIDEN, advocating for the interests of the French energy-intensive industry. Additionally, Gildas holds the position of Vice-President of the Climate & Energy Efficiency Commission at UNIDEN, focusing on cogeneration units. Previous roles include Portfolio Asset Manager at Solvay, Responsable des Opérations at Exeltium, and a trainee position at Norsk Hydro. Gildas holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Mines Paris - PSL, attained between 2003 and 2006.
