Nicolas Duforet

Nicolas Duforet has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Nicolas is currently working as an Engineering Manager Data Science at SeqOne Genomics since March 2022, where they hold a leadership position. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Data Scientist at the same company starting from November 2020.

Before joining SeqOne Genomics, Nicolas was a Senior Data Scientist at Aive from January 2020 to November 2020. During their time at Aive, they developed artificial intelligence algorithms for video analysis and implemented deep learning models for various purposes, including text detection, face recognition, and object detection.

Prior to Aive, they worked as a Data Scientist at Adagio from May 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they utilized their data science expertise to analyze large datasets and develop mathematical models.

Nicolas also has experience as a Data Scientist at TabMo, where they worked from January 2016 to May 2018. Their responsibilities included developing a Real Time Bidding system, optimizing data science models, and implementing various technologies such as C++, gRPC, Tensorflow, Spark, and Jenkins.

Nicolas then pursued further education and earned a PhD in Computational Statistics from Université Grenoble Alpes from 2011 to 2014.
