Nicolas Philippe started their work experience as a PHD Graduate Student at the University of Montpellier in 2007 and continued until 2010. Nicolas then worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the CNRS, the National Center for Scientific Research, from October 2010 to September 2011.

From October 2011 to September 2013, Nicolas worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at INSERM, creating algorithms and software for next-generation sequencer (NGS) data analyses and studying transcriptomic analyses.

In November 2013, Nicolas joined the CHU Montpellier, the Universitary Hospital Center, as a Post Doctoral Researcher until November 2014.

In October 2014, Nicolas became the Project Manager at SATT AxLR, where they worked on the CORTECT project, which later evolved into SeqOne. Nicolas was responsible for scientific R&D, company structuration, partner relationships, and business development model ideation.

In March 2017, Nicolas founded SeqOne, a bioinformatics start-up focused on making genetic sequencing and testing more accessible. As the Founder & CEO, they brought together a team of experts to drive the mission of bringing genomics to all, as simple as a blood test.

Nicolas Philippe's education history begins in 2005 when they pursued a Mater's degree in Theoretical Informatics, Bioinformatics, and Mathematics at Université de Rouen. This program lasted until 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the University of Montpellier where they obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics, focusing on Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Biology.
