David Thomas

David Thomas serves as the Managing Director for Growth and Major Projects at Sequana Partners since January 2024, bringing extensive expertise from previous roles in the water industry. Notably, from September 2020 to January 2024, David was the Water Industry Director for the ANZ Northern Region at Aurecon, where responsibilities included cultivating partnerships and delivering engineering and advisory services. Prior to this, David led the AJile Joint Venture as Services Manager, providing integrated treatment solutions for Urban Utilities. David's lengthy tenure at Aurecon encompassed various leadership roles, including Qld Water Market Leader and Technical Director - Water Services, where successful delivery of water and wastewater projects was a primary focus. David began a career in engineering with experience at Black & Veatch, Halcrow, and Cardno, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from The University of Queensland.
