Sarra Laycock is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and management within the pharmaceutical and toxicology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Site Operations at Sequani since May 2015, Sarra is responsible for overseeing site operations that support toxicology and related services. Prior to that, Sarra held various senior leadership roles at Aptuit from 2005 to April 2015, including Senior Director and Site Head of the Oxford API facility, where Sarra managed site operations and coordinated client services and project management. Additionally, Sarra has experience as a Group Manager at Quintiles and as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Katholeic Universiteit Leuven. Sarra's educational background includes a BSc HONS in Biochemistry & Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde, where Sarra also completed postgraduate studies leading to a PhD.

A little while later the company moved to the current site in Ledbury’s Bromyard Road. Toxicol Laboratories then joined with Quintiles and the foundations were laid for the company as it is today. The name Sequani dates back to the year 2000 when, after seven years of association with Quintiles, the company changed ownership under a new identity. The name Sequani comes from a Celtic tribe made famous for harrying invading Romans during their suppression of Gaul. We feel the name is apt as we too give the big boys a run for their money! We achieve this by working closely with you to deliver flexible and fast solutions that help keep your development programmes on schedule.
