Thomas Winiecki

Thomas Winiecki has accumulated over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, starting as a Senior Mathematical Modelling Engineer at Synad Technologies in 2001. Thomas then worked as a Wireless Systems Architect at STMicroelectronics before moving to ST-Ericsson as a Platform Systems Architect. In 2011, Thomas joined Sequans Communications as a Systems Architect, eventually working their way up to Director and then VP of Technology and Strategy in 2022. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated a strong technical acumen and strategic vision in shaping the direction of innovative technologies in the field.

Thomas Winiecki completed their undergraduate studies in Maths and Physics at Leipzig University from 1995 to 1998. Thomas then went on to pursue a PhD in Numerical Physics at Durham University, graduating in 2001.
