Will Moik

Will Moik is an accomplished data scientist and machine learning engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Sequel Med Tech since June 2025, Will previously held roles including Staff Machine Learning Engineer and Technical Lead at Instawork from December 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included leading the development of a matching system for gig work. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Machine Learning Researcher at Systems and Technology Research, where Will co-led a government-funded program focused on non-parametric Bayesian models, and as a Research Engineer at Etiometry Inc., where a predictive model and clinical decision support algorithm were developed and FDA approved. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
