Ethan Benjamin

Ethan Benjamin currently serves as the CTO at Sequen AI, leading the development of the first Behavior Design Engine for enterprises since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Applied Scientist and Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Etsy, where tenure lasted from April 2019 to April 2025, and Director of Research at Text IQ from February 2016 to April 2019. Earlier positions encompass a Computer Vision Research Assistant at AIG, a Master’s student at Columbia University, a Computer Vision/Machine Learning Intern at MITRE, and software development roles at GMO and Veson Nautical. Ethan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from Columbia University and a double Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Dartmouth College.
