Sequence Break is a new III independent game studio founded by veterans of both the AAA and Indie game spaces. The term “Sequence Break” refers to a tactic commonly used in speedrunning, where a player circumvents the normal order of progressing through a game. For us, it also means breaking current negative trends and cycles that have been happening within the game industry - such as treating people as disposable, having frequent layoffs, or prioritizing short term gains over long term sustainability.
